Giveaway Day at Sew, Mama, Sew!
Again I participate in Giveaway-Day and I am pleased to welcome you on my blog :)
You can win this little pouch. It is made from one of my favourite patterns Inset Zip Pouch by the talented Keyka Lou. Simple but sophisticated! This is the smaller variant – the pouch. The fabrics are choosen from my favourite fabric collections: Sanctuary – Glass tiles – Sherbet by Patty Young and Moda Essential Dots Hot Pink (available in great colors).
Danke!)
This time I have a little question for you to enter the giveaway: what pattern or tutorial do you suggest for a quick and all-purpose Christmas gift? I still need to make some more, you know ;)
An extra entry for followers (please let me know how you follow – via reader, mail or follower. Thanks!)
International entries are welcome!

Cute! Personally I love pretty much all the Keyka Lou patterns, they are all fairly quick & easy. I think zip pouches are great for practically everybody.
Verfolgen – leider erst regelmäßig seit heute – also will sagen als angemeldete Leserin- sonst aber schon vorher.

http://www.bhg.com/christmas/crafts/jolly-ol-man-applique-pillow/
Monja
beautiful pouch! Yes, I am a big fan of keyka lou patterns & also noodleheads!
Cute pouch and fabrics! I like to make tote bags as gifts since they can be personalized for men or women. I’ve used the pattern here:http://www.craftbuds.com/tutorial-totes-big-and-small/
Love your pouch. Here’s a quick small purse to make. http://sewtimeless.net/?p=502
Some machine sewing and some hand-sewing.
Love your fabric selection.
On moda’s bakeshop blog there is a tutorial for a zippered cosmetic bag. I whip them out pretty fast!
Wow, soo tolle Farben!

http://www.reginagrewe.de/downloads/gloeckchen.pdf
Habe für Weihnachten selbst schon ca. 30 genäht.

Frohe Feiertage!
Love your pouch! I’ve been using Valori Wells‘ Little Wallet pattern to make a quick stash busting gift and I couldn’t be happier with it. Thanks for hosting a giveaway!

Little tea wallets are handy gifts (the kind where you make a regular wallet, but instead of space for money or cards, there’s space for tea bags), don’t take much time, and use up small fabric bits. dangandblast@gmail.com
I love your choice of fabics – the pouch is adorable! If you need some quick gifts, I agree that tea wallets are the way to go….you can click on the tutorial on my blog and see how to make scrappy ones! Lilypadquilting is the blog.
Your bag is so cute. I think a quick gift is to make scrappy coasters or mug rugs.
Oh, I subscribe with Google reader.
I like the „easy striped table runner“ pattern. There are only 5 seams to sew but it looks fabulous!

Hallo Susanne! Die kleine Tasche is ganz toll! I’ve been to Kassel…in fact I have friends who live in Stadtallendorf….kennst du wo das ist? I do a LOT of baking this time of year so I often give homemade cookies at Christmas. I think a mug rug would be nice too. Have a wonderful Christmas!
What a sweet little pouch!
Here’s a quick and easy project that would make great last-minute gifts:

Vielen lieben Dank und schöne Grüße

I made some cute Christmas cloth napkins this year. 2 half circles (18 inch) of alternating colors. Sew right sides together and flip… Iron folds in to create a christmas tree shape!
I’d probably suggest an ornament or some kind of tote bag!
What a cute pouch! I think zip pouches are great for gifts – everybody has stuff they need a place for.
Gorgeous pouch!
How about tote bags to fill with gifts??
I’m a new follower via GFC!

I like this tutorial for a tissue pack holder. My 10-year old can do it. They make great little gifts with really cool fabric.
http://kitschinthekitchen.blogspot.com/2011/08/tissue-pack-tutorial.html
I also like to make little fabric bags with an applique or embroidered design. I put in some cookies or candy and tie with a ribbon. So simple!
Hard question. I don’t know any specific tutorials but a „mug rug“ might make a nice gift.
sntbosch@msn.com
Oh, it’s gorgeous :) WEll, as a lot of my friends are going travelling, I’ve been making a bunch of travel-fabric luggage tags – there are heaps of free tutorials on the internet :)
I would suggest something like you’re giving away – pouches ! My husband even loves them (in a masculine fabric) to organize his receipts and gift cards. He keeps it in his car.
I did a tag blanket for a friend of mine but I didn’t have a pattern. It was fast and cute.
Thanks for the giveaway + merry Xmas!
Love the bag!

Such a cute pouch! Hmmm…a quick pattern. Skirts are always quick. Although I do sew, I’m more of a knitter and those projects aren’t usually quick.
I am a huge fan of Keyka Lou also, and I love the tile fabric. I have it in blue, but I love the pink. I think Keyka Lou’s grocery bag pattern is an amazing gift item.
I haven’t tried this one yet, but it’s on my list: http://alemonsqueezyhome.blogspot.com/2010/10/pleated-pouch-tutorial-with-pattern.html Merry Christmas!

I have a book called Last-Minute Patchwork + Quilted Gifts. There are some great ideas for 2 hour projects.
